i ordered Spider-Man: Friend or Foe for 360 from To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. used and it said 100% guranteed so i get it in the mail and the game takes quite awhile to read and finally comes up as "Unplayable Disc" so i emailed the company.
i told them what happened and gave them my order number. they replied saying that since it was in the 30 day gurantee period they would send a new copy to me. i asked where i should send the original game and they said there was no need to send that game back and to just discard it when u get the new game.
i'm gonna try like hell to get it to work and then sell it on ebay for instant cash, or maybe just sell it to some noob that doesnt know any better.
i just find it crazy that this company is just sending me a copy witout the other one coming back to them.
the point of the story is go buy a used game from them and say its fucked up and get another copy free for a friend or to sell >.>
Re: i ripped this company off without even trying.
This happened to me with a t-shirt once. I ordered two different designs but they sent me two of the same design. I called them and told them and they said "O.K. We will send the other one right out to you." I said "How do I send this other one back?" The said "Don't worry about it, just keep it."
I thought it was weird at first too but it makes perfect sense if you think about it. How much money would they spend having these things sent back to them? They are willing to eat the cost of the occassional person who wants to cheat them as the cost of doing business.
So you didn't cheat them Duke.
People who do take advantage of that situation are pathetic though IMO. >.>

Can't you get in trouble for posting broken items on ebay if the person complains? I might be totally wrong, since I have never used Ebay, but it seems like they would have something or some kind of punishment to stop people from doing that all the time.

You can bring the matter to arbitration if the seller refuses to fix it or take it back. eBay will force the person to fix it or issue a new one if the buyer can proof he got it broken.
I think Duke is joking though. >.>
