Preview: Wrestling Clique Hilltoppers at #3 Ohio State Buckeyes
Lee Corso picks:Ohio State Lee's take: The mighty Buckeyes take on a seemingly over matched Hilltoppers team from Canitzerland. Led by Senior QB Todd Boeckman and Junior HB Chris "Beanie" Wells, the Buckeyes look to overpower the lowly Hilltoppers. QB Shaun Quinn, although a senior, is inexperienced in NCAA play as he transferred from the University of Toronto in hopes of making a run at a National Title. His backfield consists of more transfers, both unproven. His WR corps contains two transfers as well. I think the Hilltoppers defense is it's strong point, since most of them have been there for awhile. Lee's Prediction:#3 OSU 56, WCU 3
Kirk Herbstreit picks:Ohio State Kirk's take:It's hard to go against my alma mater here. I think the WCU offense lacks the necessary firepower and I think the defense is no match for Boeckman and Wells. The only chance for WCU is if someone steps up to the plate and knocks one of those two out. GD and Cory Jones both transferred from Tulane where they wreaked havoc, but were unable to capture the elusive CUSA title due to an inept offense. They are the difference makers, if they step up, I think WCU has a chance to keep it relatively close. Kirk's Prediction: #3 Ohio State 54, WCU 14

Recap:
WCU came out firing on all cylinders. Petersen took back the opening kickoff all the way to the fifty which quickly silenced the fans at the horseshoe. After an initial sack, Quinn composed himself and proceeded to complete 5 consecutive passes, against a stingy Buckeye defense, that culminated in an 8 yard strike to beefy TE James. It's no doubt that K Jason Kady is special. Boomed his kickoff out of the endzone and OSU started every drive from the 20. On their first drive Boeckman was quickly intercepted by MLB Cory Jones on a pass intended for his star receiver Brian Robiske. From there WCU would have it's only non-scoring drive. The drive consisted of two failed passes, a sack and a missed FG by inches by Kady. However from there, the Hilltoppers took over. Never sacking Boeckman but creating enough pressure to force 3 more interceptions including a crucial one by FS Slim as it saved a touchdown. If WCU continues to play like this, The rest of the nation should beware.
