I Need Some Help
I just got an Xbox 360 pro a couple of weeks ago and Of course about 80% of Fun with this system is On Xbox Live. So I basically need help setting up Xbox Live I have a modem and router butboth are very Distant from my room so I need some simple steps to connecting to Xbox Live Using a Windows Vista Laptop please i would really appreciate it Guys

If you got Cable or DSL, disconnect the Cable or DSL from your computer and put it in the back of your 360. I don't use my computer to get on XBL. Other members on here can explain it better.

If you have a router, all you need to do is hook your modem up to your router and then put the wireless adapter for the 360 in.

I dont have the wireless adaptor But I plugged the Ethernet Cable in My laptop and I get IP Address Failed

You have to have the 360 adapter for your 360 to get Live access. The router takes the connection from your modem and spreads it across wireless devices, so you need something wireless on the 360 for it to work.
