This might sound stupid but how do you get the automatic kick for Madden 09. I tried kicking it straight but it always goes crooked and i get penalized every time. I'm also new to Madden so i'm not experienced yet and advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am happy to report that me and the Detroit Lions won in exhibition against Joe Cool and his Seattle Seahawks late last night (around 2am EST). Joe was a good sport though, even though I stopped him on 4th and goal at the 2 yard line

Kitna, by some act of god, had almost a perfect passer rating. More to come as my Lions Franchise is already at 0-1 in the regular season.

I've yet to start a Franchise mode game but have won a few exhibition matches with my soon to be trusty Colts

Superstar mode is so win imo though. I've always thought all sports games should have a mode like that.

This is my first time playing Madden since 96 and I've never followed football so my IQ was like 425 I think.

I think my Madden IQ at the moment is 575 or something

The only downside about franchise that I've had is that Brett Favre kicked my ass and left me with only 9 seconds left on the clock to come back 3-1 ftL

Another slightly weird thing about Madden is how the IQ works, I had a game where I threw for 307 yards, 3 TDs and 1 INT against the Broncos and my Passing IQ wen't down in to Pro?

My Madden IQ atm is 450 or so.

When I took the initial test, I had All Madden on Run Offense and All Pro on Pass Offense...but the Defense stuff I basically bombed.
