APF 2k8 blows Madden 08 out of the water. Madden 06-08 is a complete and utter fucking joke of a series. I really hope they fixed most of the bullshit that occured in the games over the years.
You know, linebackers jumping 10 feet to intercept a pass, the Computer "Drive" where they'd always score. The fact that you can never catch the Computers 94 speed HB with your 99 speed CB, but their 85 speed LB can catch your 98 speed WR. It was fucking dreadful.

Well, first things first this is the best looking Madden game ever. By far. The fields, the crowd, weather effects, player models and animations, its all top notch.
Game play is greatly improved, outside of a few minor gripes. Im 10 times happier with this years game then the last two.
A couple of other things, I was playing the Patriots in my dynasty and while I was reading the defense presnap the whole D line stood up and some of the LBs put there fist in the ground, and they just keep changing stances and all that jazz till I snaped the ball. It was pretty cool to see imo
My only real downside to the game so far is I think they degraded the passing game abit, If I have Randy Moss matched up on Corey Ivy from the Ravens theres no way that Ivy should be able to defend him as well as he can in this game.
This thread was my idea because everyone was arguing over madden 09 in the SB
