I think everyone who is interested in video games once had a PS1, come on, It was legendary. Well a few weeks a go I was searching through old stuff and I found my PS1 (Frankly It was broken) and a box full of games, I was amazed at all of these games as they were the best games I had ever played, they are just timeless classics.
The greatest games PS1 to me had to be:
1)Syphon Filter- This was an epic game, I remember buying this when it first game out, I had so much fun playing this Its unbelieveable, everything about it rocked, including the weapons-Tazer FTW. It also had a great storyline.
2)Duke Nukem: Time to kill- God this game was one of my favourites, going around killing random pigs, thats was epic.
3) WWF Smackdown- OMG, this has to be the best WWF/WWE game ever, the roster pwned every other smackdown. The game play was great, and It had a great backstage arena.
4)WWf Warzone- The first ever wrestling I bought, and I loved it, the CAC was amazing and the roster was great.

6)Tekken series- the tekkens for PS1 were the best fighting games ever imo, just cant get enough of them.
7)Crash bandicoot series- I am not a fan of platformers, but this game had me hooked from the start, it was amazing.
I have many more fond memories of the PS1 but Im rather tired to mention, so you share yours.

As I've never been big on RPG's so I can't judge Final Fantasy and that, my favourite PS1 game was always Crash Bandicoot (specifically number 3) - They just used to be so much fun, working through and trying to beat all the levels. - I downloaded Crash 1 from the PSN a few months ago and it just brought back all the memories.

Metal Gear Solid needs a mention as well as Resident Evil 2.

Die Hard Trilogy, I only wish I could buy it for my 360
Yeah, those games were great, I had the gun too, the die hard game where you start off in the airport, and Time Crisis was good with that crazy gun.
