Was it just me, or was GTA4 bugging out alot last night.

I'm loving the xbox live but GTA4 is really a pain when it comes to staying in games, or getting into them when the rooms are full.

Anyone else having that issue... full room or near full room and when the game starts you get the black screen of death with the Game Loading Message... next thing you know everyone is banging away and your left listening....

Last night, out of 10-15 attempts to play live on GTA4, I bet I actually played 3-4 matches problem free. The rest of the time I was logging out / logging in... Damn that sucks. I don't have this issue with COD4 or Halo and I THOUGHT there was already a patch that came out to fix the hangups with GTA4, but I know I'm not the only one having the issue.

I got kicked out of the session twice and the last time it wouldn't allow me back in so I gave up.

I didn't have this problem playing with GD and Griff though so I assume it was the number of people in the room

Yes, same thing was happening to me Felix. I had to restart 3 times. I could hear people talking but "Starting Game" was there for at least 3 minutes.

I also get annoyed when you pick "Quickstart" and it puts you right into a matchup. You have no idea what the guns are, what the goal is. etc.

Overall though I freaking love playing online. Im not that good either, but I am getting a bit better. Usually finish somewhere in the middle.

I have to say playing with up to 5 or more people wasn't as fun as the three of us.

I could barely respawn before someone was shooting me in the back every time.

I don't consider it a question of skill when I can't even move long enough to turn the camera...

i think its just the rockstar's servers cuz i have the same problem sometimes on ps3

It's definetly better with like 12 people. There is also an option when you are setting it up (if thats you are the one setting it up) where you can choose "near" for respawn.

Well, I learned that if you want to be the host, pull up your phone, click Multiplayer, Quick Match, Custom Match... before you start game, select Private Slots (or spots, whatever it reads) and select the number of players you want. Sometimes more join, sometimes no one shows up. But, this is how you want to do it if you want to invite people and be in control of where you are playing, what guns, etc, etc.

We should figure out when people are on, and once a week get together, just those of us from WC. Firday and Saturday Nights are best for me, 10PM est and on...
