KO'd. It took a while (almost 2 years) but I've finally received my flashing red ring of death. It was almost a welcoming sign, really.. I mean, I've been kicking around the idea of getting a PS3 now for a while, and I have good reason to do so. I want the BluRay, but maybe.. more importantly, I'm in need of a gaming system.
So, what options do I have? The warranty has probably run out I'd assume.. Can I get this piece of shit repaired and then sell it, or what?

I don't believe the warranties run out until 2009. You can replace it yeah and then sell it if you can find a buyer lol.

You'll get some gaywad automated system named Max or something in the beginning, just BS with the robobitch until you get the option to talk with an agent. After you get everything set up, you should get the empty box in three days and have your system back within three weeks depending on how fast you are about sending it back.
