Ok i have been wanting to make a topic on this for a really long time. I own The godfather on X-Box and The god father don edition on the PS3 and i was just wondering if anyone have even played this game. Everyone i speak to has never heard of it or have never played it yet it came out the same time as GTA san andreas and id consider it better than that and thats saying something.

The gameplay is very easy and even if you find it difficult it basically gets explained to you at the start when you are taken under Luka brasi's wing. It takes a similiar style to the GTA series and even though there isnt as many cars offered it is still just as good.

Also there are two styles of missions there are onjectives and hits which you can do whenever which is great depending on what mood your in and you can just roam.

Also you can extort Buisnesses owned by opposing mafias (barzini, tattaglia, Stracci and corneo). and you can also extort rackets.


So if you have played this game what are your thoughts ???

i never played this game cause.. well.. it looked pretty horrible tbh

i have it and never really got into it it was aright to start with but like all games like that it gets old quickly

I loved it, played it beat it, and played it some more it's really fun a lot like GTA.

Yeah it was an okay game but i would never compare it to the GTA games. I mean thats it it was an okay game cause i mean the missions were decent but they were easy to beat. I mean they could have done the game better. INstead of you playing a made up player you could have played some of the main characters from the movie like Micheal, Sonny, Vito, and a couple of the other Corleone men.

The storyline should have had you relive the first two godfather movies cause the 3rd one was bad to me and have you play exactly what happened what really happened. Also play Vito when he was young and starting as the don of the family now that would have been awesome.

I had the Blackhand Edition on the Wii, and I loved it. I couldn't put it down, and I seriously thought it was excellent.

I had the PS2 edition, completed it and really enjoyed it. I'm a total mark for the movies though so I'm not the best person to give a subjective view
