InfinityWard MAY give COD6 a Sci Fi setting

It's extremely possible that Infinity Ward would get their hands back on the Call of Duty franchise once Treyarch has had its way with it, but would they really introduce elements of unrealism into such a history-steeped series, or could they be working on an entirely new, space marine-flavored franchise?

i'll pass on this one. cod4 was incredible, but i'm tired of WWII and I don't really like futuristical games.

The WWII's been overused and has become stale. I don't get why in the hell they should've give COD: World at War (COD5) a Sci-Fi setting?

The title of this thread is misleading. IW is a gaming house, and obvioulsy will have to put out more games then just CoD titles. It doesnt mean or say that COD "6" will be a sci fi game.

As far as I know, Activisions plan of "split-custody" of the COD franchis between Treyarch and IW is still intact.
