Raise Your GamerScore, Win Prizes

Seems like a fun contest, one you can win by playing obsessively just two games (each game has at least 1,000 Gamerscore to be earned) for two months. I suspect youâ€™ll see a nice press release at the end of the contest, touting the millions of points earned in the two month period. If youâ€™ve exhausted the points in all of your favorite games, renting two or three games from Blockbuster is probably the cheapest way to earn the 1,500, or you can borrow games from a buddy.

Well looks like it's time for me to go spend some $$ and try to bump up that gamerscore. Make sure you register your Xbox Live Gamertag in order to participate in the Rewards Program. To add a little more info to this story...

Yeah I heard about this, but bad news for us over in the UK is that it is only for the States.

Well its a complicated task. Here's what you need to do to sign up properly.

1. SIGN OUT OF WINDOWS LIVE ID, WILL NOT WORK OTHERWISE
2. go to rewards page
3. click sign in
4.on the BOTTOM LEFT of the page it says register now DO NOT SIGN INTO WINDOW ID HERE
5. fill in your information after this you are signed up
DONT START UNTIL YOU JOIN CHALLENGE
6. when you get redirected and see a guy on a rocket car with the words INCREASE YOUR GAMERSCORE BY 1,500 BEFORE APRIL 12 click it
7.on the new page click join challenge wait till the button is green
8.a window will pop up click i agree at the bottom wait till the button is clickable and click it. you may get errors delete cookies and try until it works the join button will grey out and im finished will turn green when you get through.
