Vice City Stories IS coming to PS2

UK, February 8, 2007 - The much-rumoured PS2 version of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories has been officially confirmed by Rockstar with the game scheduled to hit the shelves next month.

As recently as last week, doubt still surrounded the PSP port after Rockstar refused to comment on rumours that the game was heading to PS2. But any doubt has now been cast aside because the controversial publisher has confirmed that VCS on home console will hit on March 6 in America and March 9 in Europe.

"Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories offers PlayStation 2 system owners a big screen experience of the same storyline and missions, featuring the open-world, innovative gameplay, incredible production values and diverse music that are the trademarks of the Grand Theft Auto franchise," said a Rockstar spokesperson.

funny thing is that I just picked up Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories the other day at WalMart for $20.

Pretty much identical to Grand Theft Auto 3, which I was fine with (easier to remember the maps this way

i got it for psp so no worry for me.

I remember hearing that Vice City Stories wasn't going to the PS2, but they said that about Liberty City and look at that. I just wonder if they'll do a San Andreas Story, that would be awesome for the PSP.

I can't wait for GTA4. You have to wonder how SA can be bettered.
