Here is a very stripped down version of Windows Vista, a "Bare Bones Edition". The iso has been reduced to 700 Mb and will fit on a single CD. You will need to install your own drivers for most of the hardware in your PC. (Below is a list of what has been removed.) The OS seems to run a bit faster that a normal install. The installation on my 1.4 Celeron D laptop took about 20 minutes.
