Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Good things come in small packages Games Radar [Multi] Good things come in small packages Words: Justin Towell Tuesday 2 January 2007 Micro Machines V4 (DS) Typically for the post-Christmas lull, only two games are confirmed for release this week - but Micro Machines V4 on DS is one of them. Race tiny cars around 3D environments such as school science labs and supermarket checkouts and hit your rivals with comedy hammers. The graphics may be somewhat low-res compared to the other versions but it's good fun and suits handheld play. Rafa Nadal Tennis (DS) Whether you use the stylus to precisely control your shots or opt for traditional D-pad control, there's a lot here for tennis fans to enjoy. Start a tennis career and enter 20 tournaments in 17 locations. And rest assured there's no Cliff Richard on the soundtrack. Coming soon (12 January 2007) Bionicle Heroes (DS) Far Cry Vengeance (Wii) Lost Planet (Xbox 360) Wario Ware: Smooth Moves (Wii) World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade (PC) World Snooker Championship 2007 (PS2, Xbox 360, PSP) Above: Micro Machines V4 on DS is a little rough around the edges, but still charming | |
