Sony reveals two trailers and information on the Talwar gang.

It's recap time, folks. This time, we're talking about the different gangs in the upcoming PSP title,

. First with a name like Gangs of London, it's not too difficult to figure out what the game's trying to do. Set on the streets of England, you can assume the role of several different gangs. As in Pursuit Force, another title revolving around gangs, each criminal group in Gangs of London represents a different subculture.
You'll find the Jamaicans, Chinese, Russians, Pakistanis and British each has their own lawbreaking club trying to rule the streets of London. Making things even more interesting is the fact each gang plays differently. You'll find more than just cosmetic differences, in other words. For example, each gang has two sets of skills: hand-to-hand combat and vehicle. When on-foot, characteristics such as power and stamina come into play. But when you're tearing through the streets of London in a vehicle, you'll want a gang who has good handling and speed attributes.

Apart from all this, each gang also packs different weapons and, of course, looks different. The story also changes depending on the gang you choose. This should add an extra layer of depth to the game, not to mention increase the replayability factor. For now, though, we have new information on one of them, the Talwar Gang.

The Talwar (sword) Brothers first appeared in 1995 when they were little more than a street gang of mouthy kids. One of the more ambitious members, Asif Rashid, started to organize the group and they began working the local vice scene. Asif's shrewd leadership led to the acquisition of numerous properties around the area north of Oxford Street. The gang expanded and is now a dominant force in London organized crime. They're fast-talking, fast-driving, sharp-shooting gangsters for the new millennium, and once you've met them, you won't forget them.

Stay tuned for more on Gangs of London next week. And don't forget to head into the media pages to watch the new trailers.
