The fourth title in the Hitman series of video games has shot straight into the top slot of the UK games charts. Hitman: Blood Money sees the tables turned on hitman Agent 47, as he tries to avoid becoming the next target. New gameplay includes a "notoriety system" that means guards and civilians may recognise you if your previous work ends up on the front page. The game, released this week, ends four-weeks at number one for Fifa World Cup Germany 2006.

The first instalment of the first-person-shooter SiN Episodes: Emergence has been released in Europe. It is the first game to be released as a series of episodes, rather than as a complete game, with each chapter available to download or buy on disc. Decisions made in early chapters may affect future gameplay, said SiN's developers Ritual Entertainment. German gamers will have to wait to play the first chapter while the country's ratings board makes its decision.

Microsoft is preparing for a major overhaul of its Xbox 360 dashboard. The upgrade is due to be released in the coming weeks and will be available as a download via Xbox Live. Among the planned changes are better menus for the Xbox Live Marketplace which offers game demos, video downloads and more. The new version will also include a way to queue downloads, letting you do something else on the console while downloading in the background.

World cup fever is gripping the UK games charts with the latest Fifa football title holding onto the top spot for a fourth week running. The success of Fifa World Cup Germany 2006 has been repeated by the PSP version of the game. It has shot straight to number one in the PSP charts. Other soccer titles continue to sell well, with Pro Evolution Soccer 5 up to number two and Championship Manager 2006 at five. BBC

I need to get GRAW but I've been short on money lately saving up for stuff. I've only played the demo. I've only got a handful of games at the moment; NFS:MW, THAW, DOA4, Condemned, and FNF:R3. I was thinking about buying Hitman this week.

Yeah man cool... I cant buy any games ATM either, but if you can obtain Battlefield2, CallofDuty2, PDZ, or GRAW thatd be great (so we can play together). I reccomend GRAW--- great all-around game.

yep the game is a hot game , so many ways of beating the stages. i just past the opera stage
