In case you weren't one of the 2.5 million people to pick it up in its first month of sales, Ubisoft is bringing history lesson-cum-assassin simulator Assassin's Creed to the PC platform in March. The only difference: when you drop "a few coins" on this version, you'll be rewarded with "four brand-new exclusive types of investigations" which should go a small way towards silencing complaints that the game (one of our favorites in '07, by the by) was repetitive. And, at $50, it enjoys the obligatory PC game discount.

Hmmmm, I have been so turned off by different 360 games, but I havent seen anyone complain about this game at all.
I will pick this up next.

Only complaint I had is that it was far to short. Other than that, it's a good game.
Well, did you go and beat all investigations, or just the minimum of 3 required for each mission? The game got a little repetitive at times, but the landscape is so much fun to run/jump around. I also got every Lookout point, saved every Citizen, etc...
But if you just do the minimum, I can see how it would be short.

There have been plenty of complaints about it. Not here but on other forums, magazines etc. Basically a lot of people find that it ends up getting boring really fast.

There have been plenty of complaints on any game....you will find them for every one. But if the game looks interesting to you Simon, give it a shot. you could always rent it for a few days if you're not willing to throw down $50 or so for it right away.
