so i downloaded Startropics recently for the Virtual Console. it's an old school NES game that i had in the day and loved so i figured why not put out 5 bucks for it and relive them old days.
well i start to play it and either they upped the difficulty or i have gotten worse. i use to be able to kick ass at this game and now it seems hard as balls. the same goes for the zelda and mario games. i go back and play them now and i get nowhere basically but i can beat super mario galaxy like its nothing.
have the games nowadays made us soft compared to the hardcore games we used to have or are we just getting better so it seems the newer games are just easier then what we remembered?
either way it makes for a good debate.
