Am i the only one who thinks this is really bad this year?
The controls are better imo but my main complaint is the cutscene's after matches in the 24/7 mode. They have nothing to do with what just happened! Last year if you were supposed to lose it would go to a cutscene before you actually win, this year you win but then the cutscene shows the other guy celebrating & you injured?
Another is the pointless cutscenes. I get one the smackdown before every PPV. I'm talking to Teddy while Vince is talking to someone else. Joey Styles i think. McMahon walks off, Teddy walks away from me to follow him. The camera pans back & it shows my opponent that night just standing there.
Inconsistancies in cutscens aswell. One week im ignoring everyone who offers a handshake etc, fair enough, i am a heel after all. The next week it shows me shaking hand with them all including the guy im facing that night & the guy i've been feuding with.
JBL's commentary is just Tazz's from last year with a few new phrases.
Hmmm, this was only supposed to have the first paragraph but the i thought of more. I better stop before i think of anything else.

100% agree with you. This years suck as far as story and cut scenes go. I have a 360 now and figured it would be better but the only thing better is I can add my own music.
Another thing that sucks is with your created wrestlers on 24/7 mode you get part of your created entrance. Total bs as the previous games you see what you created and not have to wait forever through the game for all of it to show.
The controls are ok but the rest went to hell in a hand basket.

I agree as well. There are just loads of inconsistencies. And I hated that a cutscene happened in 24/7 mode that caused me to lose a match, which then ruined my undefeated record of 46-0! Especially since I'd actually made the guy tap out first, as well!

Yeah I can't say I really liked it. I actually wanted it for XMAS, but rented it for a few weeks when I went home and decided it was horrible. The 24/7 mode was bogus .. nothing was correspondent and it was terribly lacking coherence.

I figured this would be bad, so when I bought it I didn't spend the extra $10 and instead got it for the Wii. Let me tell you, I don't even get cutscenes in the Wii version, and as far as I saw, there is no 24/7 mode. There is something where you start as a jobber and work your way up to the main event. So until I go from Jobber to lower-card, I am constantly fighting the same people: Kane, Chavo, and Helms. Once I beat them enough times, then I get to fight any combination of Flair, and a few others.
