I find that me and griff, being the two technology buff's here at WH, do a lot of posting here, in threads that we trail off on, so here is where we can have our talks.

So, Griff, The Wii over PS3.

from your point of view Wii is goign tobe top and there is nothing that can be said to change that. Yeah it is going to have a new way of playing the games and it will be innovative in gameplay, but is lacking any innovative advantage in the look, feel, or atmosphere of the game. Like I mentioned before if it is not broken, don't fix it. The wa the general public plays their games now is more than sufficient. Perfect example of this is racing games. Yeah there are pedals and steering wheels that you can buy to play racing games, but the mass amount of public still plays the games with controllers. I don't see a lot of people changint heir ways. So I don't expect Wii to pass up either ps3 or 360. I think it will be great and it may do better in the Japan market, but here in the "western civilization" I expect it to bomb as much if not worse than Gamecube.

As far as ps3 being better I don't think it is going to be better. To me it is going to be all about the games we play not the system itself. Now the 360 and PS3 are very similar in what they present, just use different methods to do so. The ps3 is going to be way too expensive for the amount of bugs the system is having, especally using the blue Ray discs. Developers actually prefer the regular methods over using the blue ray and many companies shy away from them for that reason alone, same for Wii and having to figure out a new way to use controllers. And like I mentioned, many games that were exclusive will be comin out multi platform now. Assasin's Creed, Resident Evil 5,. Smackdown vs Raw, and many more will be on both systems. But out of the titles that are exclusive Microsoft has the better library. Dead or Alive, Halo products, Gears of War, Lionhead products (Fable), Mass Effect, are all Microsoft only releases and there will be more to come. And all of this is there before you figure the on-ine factor which Xbox completely Pwns with. When you think of on-line console gaming, Live is the word that comes to mind... I really think that Micosoft has done everything right by getting their product out first and heavy, (beating debuts od I-POd , playstation 1 & 2, and PSP in units sold in this amount of time) and the big games haven't even hit yet... wait till mid August and it is basically going to be the highest point in gaming we've seen in quite some time. And all of this is VERY affordable compared to a 599 PS3 that is going to crank out the exact same performance that the Xbox currently has, not to metnion the hit of $300 + that Sony loses on every console sold...

I am gonna go with the Wii. I was never really a fan of Sony. They always have to be different. They could of just put HDDVD in the PS3 but NOOO. They had to put in Blu Ray which will die like UMD videos did. I was also a lifelong fan of Nintendo. Super NES was my first game system. Nintendo pumps out addictive, awesome games like Mario and Zelda. Any game I can get for PS3, I will probably also be able to get for my Xbox 360. I also like the Wiis feature to download any old Nintendo game. Sony also never had great online capabilities like Xbox did with Xbox Live.

Ubern00b, it is BDB and Griff, not you, although GD is because we the boss and will kill me lol.

Anyways, I think it is a fantastic machine, not like I am biast, I own a 360 which I love to bits, it is just, like being in your game more would make the Wii number 1 for excitement, and you'll lose weight lol!

Anyways, Do you think 20 GB is enough for a hardrive on the 360?

I have used 11 GB on virtually fuck all, so I am a little pissed off.

I think 20 GB is plenty of space unless you bog it down with a lot of msic, and you can delete a lot of the music that comes standard to free up some more room. On top of that in a worst case scenario it's a removable hardrive and you can always get another one if 20 does fit your fancy... and there is always room for them to make a bigger hard drive

PS3 have copied Wii on the sensitive remote, which I am pissed off with, I mean, steal people ideas you douchebags.

I wouldn't say it was stolen becaue that is somethign that has been in th works for a long time. It had to be in the works long before Nintendo announced the controllers to have been prototyped, finalized, and manufactured in time. It was just a case of Nintendo made the announcement first.

How come it was fucking done like 2 days before E3 then? And it works exactly the same as the Wii?

It's a pretty basic concept and a lot of things get done right before E3. Wii's controller was doen just shortly before the Tokyo gaming show in Japan as well. A new controller isn't made and done over night. They had that as something that they were going to add into the boomerang controllers they started with back a year or so ago... they just didn't have a working controller ready.
