I was in New York on release day and I got to play with one in the Apple store, and it blew me away. This phone has everything you need. I am defiantly picking one up when they come out here later in they year. There have been a few complaints such as the web browser being a bit slow, but Iām sure that will improve with time.
Thoughts on it? Are you going to get one? I bet you are, everyone has an ipod, and I bet everyone will eventually have an iphone!
no, i just got a new phone and re-up'ed my contract wiht verizon for another 2 years. i could care less about an i phone cuz i dont even have an ipod lol

Ha ha, you are the exeption to the rule then Rambo! My contract comes up around the same time the iphone comes out over here, so it's a much easier decision for me to make. But I just hope the contracts on these will not be too big.
in the paper i read that over the contracts are from $60 to 220. I wouldnt get one cuz i got no need for one. i barely use my phone at all so it would be a waste of $$ for me.

I only have a pay as you go phone because cell reception here in West Virginia is almost non-existent. There are too many mountains here and not enough towers.
I wouldn't be getting my money's worth if I had to pay a monthly bill.

Personally, I don't like Apple products. I've not seen the iPhone personally, but if it's anything like the iPod, it'll be all about style, and nothing at all to do with how it performs. The iPod is the most over-rated product of the last 100 years. And that includes Hulkamania.

The video ipods are impressive, this is not.. There are already phones out there that have mp3 capabilites, cameras, and web browsing. Course, the web browsing with the iphone is supposed to be better and more complete but hey.. if it's slow like I've been hearing then who gives a fuck?
These do look really cool and I would totally consider picking one up, that is if it wasn't for one tiny detail. That detail being that they are ridiculously over-priced and I am pretty tight with my money. I mean I do have the money for if I was stupid enough but it is a damn waste of money in my eyes.
