Amazon.ca started their boxing week sale already and I had $152 on a Visa Gif Card so I placed an order and got a couple of decent deals and a couple of Wii games that are probably complete shit but the price was decent enough that I am giving them a chance. Missed out on a couple of deals like College Hoops 2K8 (360) for $19.99, World Series of Poker 2008: Battle for the Bracelets (360) for $14.99 and Mario Party DS for $9.99 but oh well.

Phoenix Wright games are great the first time through. They lack replay value since once you know the trial outcomes it is pretty boring knowing exactly what to do. But still worth playing the first time through.

It is not a very long game but it doesn't get boring too fast IMO. And New Blood is by far one of the best Wii games. Hated the first one on the Wii but that was only because it was a port from the DS game I had already played and wanted something new not a port from the DS. But this is that new game that should have been released last year and is great.

My launch 360 finally crapped out on me but I was wanting to upgrade to an elite anyway so not the end of the world.

Yeah I had both games but they added no extra cost over the normal elite and ensures that it is a newer elite since the more recent elites are supposed to be a little more reliable than some of the early elites. Holding on to the games for now just in case I needed to exchange it in the first 30 days and then after that I don't think I will need them with the three year warranty since it would be repairs and not an exhange at that point so I will probably give them to a friend.
A couple more boxing week deals.
$24.99.... Only wanted Scarface and not the other game that sounds pathetically bad but when the bundle is $24.99 and Scarface alone is $59.99 I can't really complain about the second game while getting Scarface a lot cheaper.
