Something I've pondered doing for awhile now but never really brought to life, I've decided to give it a go and see how the reception is to it. <_< Just bare with me that I'm in the 2008 season, just after the first game with the San Diego Chargers with a record of 1-0. Once I get another game done, They'll be a review of how it went and a preview of the next one etc, and the Roster for my team will be posted in a bit because as you can expect, its not exactly stayed the same.

The Chargers Bring in Tom Brady as They Add Depth At QB
While the Chargers have been enjoying a slew of sucsess , one of the few problems that have plauged the Chargers over the last 3 years has been depth at QB, While hall of famer Y.A Tittle along side LaDianian Tomlinson, led the Chargers to 2 Super Bowl Apperances, capped by a Super Bowl ring 2 years ago. Whenever the star went out, the team suffered having to rely on less then stellar Charlie Whitehurst and Rookie, Leon Dudley to get the job done.
Last week, news came through that Tittle had been traded for Up and comer Arron Rogers and A 1 first round draft pick. The GM explained his actions as "Clearing Cap space and Aqquiring pieces for future trades". Rogers came in to the line up and threw 209 yards in his first game with the Chargers, though throwing 2 key interceptions late in the game he left with mixed review from fans and Media alike.
Now today, On the heels of a close win over New Orleans, Another Quaterback has been added to the fold. Tom Brady came through in a trade with the Pats as they sent out 2 First round draft picks and quaterback, Charlie Whitehurst. Could he be the final piece in the puzzle the Chargers have been looking for? "I hope so" says Head Coach Norv Turner, "We have a great up and comer in Rogers, a Solid third liner in Dudley and now possibly a Starter we've been looking for. They all have something to offer".
EDIT <_<

Chargers fend off the Panthers In a Close One
When Tom Brady came to the Chargers last week there was alot of questions surrounding how much he would help the team in the wake of Tittle leaving and Brady wanted to answer those tonight. Brady failed to make it on the board with a Touchdown and threw only 155 yards in a hard fought game that was one by the kickers and a defensive unit that sent 5 panthers to the side lines with various injurys. Sadly Panthers DT Kris Jenkins went down in the Third with a career ending ruptured disk ending the Panthers come back in the game.
The other story going in to this game would be how much time Arron Rogers would get now that Brady joined the line up, though he sat on the bench for this game, Rogers dosn't feel to left out. "I know I have some stuff to work on right now and every practice i'll be out there working to better myself as a quaterback." Rogers added "this situation is nothing to me" reffering to his time in Green Bay working behinde the Legendary Brett Farve before he retired.
Now the Chargers look foward to week 3 in Okaland against Randy Moss and the Raider. The Raiders, coming off two losses could serve as an ajustment game as the Chargers had problems generating offense with Tomlinson. A possiblity to look foward to in this game is also the return of Rogers or Dudley to the QB spot late in the game if the Chargers can get a good lead going in to the half.

Well it looks like the Chargers quest to add depth at QB has added its final piece after Brady, They signed free agent Seneca Wallace for 4 years. Again the coach defended the teams signing as having another option to go to when needed. "Seneca brings a respectable running game to the QB, Something we had been looking at Leon to do."
This certianly opens up questions about Leon Dudleys future with the franchise which he joined in 2007 as the 21st overall pick.

The Chargers defense won todays game again as they shut down the Raiders offensive efforts in all four quaters. While the offense behinde Tom Brady had a hard time finding its way to the end zone, late game sub Seneca Wallace came in and helped the the Chargers seal the win by driving the team up feild and allowing LT to work his magic.
Brady however wasn't to happy with the win, "We've still got afew kinks to work out, but its coming together." He said with a smile. "You can only do so much in one game, its just a matter of me trying jelling with my team mates now." Something he'll need to do to keep his starting spot as Rogers and Wallace have been improving and looking for some more play time against the Jets in week 4.

Chargers Shut Down The Jets As Brady Breaks Out
After two less then stellar games since joining the Chargers, Tom Brady came in to the game against the Jets today to make a statement. Throwing 300+ yards in 3 quaters of play with his first TD coming off a pass to LT and many more followed to Gates later in the game. Brady only came out of the game in the 4th quater to allow Wallace some play time and for a change of pace on feild, which gave us a clear view of how the Quaterbacks would be used in the future.
While Rogers sat on the sideline for most of the game he did get his time at the end of the game, though none of his passes where completed with 1 minute left in play. Wallace did however get the Chargers in place for a feild goal after afew good rushes up the sidelines. All the Quaterback coverage aside, the Defense had a hard time reading plays today and fell alittle short, something the coach promised to work on in practice.
Now coming off a perfect record, San Diego heads to Denver to match up against the leading passer in the AFC West, Jay Cutler. The defense will need to tighten up and Brady will need to bring his A game if they want to bring this one home. Don't expect to see Wallace or Rogers coming off the bench ethier in this game unless Brady falls apart early or falls to an injury.
In other news, Antino Gates won both the NFL and AFC Player of Week Award.

The Chargers Tough Out A Late Game Win In Denver
While Brady went down late in the first with hip injury, LT and Company did a good job of holding on against the Broncos. Tomlinson who toke over the game at the line helped the Chargers out run the Broncos by almost 200 Yards and even bring in two touchdowns.
While Cutler countinued his passing dominace by throwing 300+ yards, Brady who missed a quater threw 205 yards. The real story is the budding sucsess of Wallace who came in for Brady and along with coming up big on 3rd down, helped get rally key two point conversions in the fourth and even ran in afew Touchdowns when given the chance.
The game stayed close until the 4th where the Bronco's coughed up a interception and a fumble. allowing the Chargers to catch up and take the lead late in the quater. Now the Chargers set there sights on Tampa Bay who are coming in with a 3-2 record.

while looking at the scores....one has to wonder. Is there a higher power at work or is this another case for Balco? Has Brady been using Michael's(Jordan) secret stuff? Has the God-like powers that has reached our public eye in Tv shows and Modern Movies really come to life on screen and the field? Has gadorade been a factor in this? More on this story and more later on MSPN (Monks Sports Net) Denh Denh Nuh Denh Denh Nuh

Wallace to Start Against Tampa Bay, Brady Trade Rumors
It seems the higher ups in the Chargers franchise havn't been happy with Tom Brady since the trade. Posting lack luster numbers and generally not fitting in while with offensive scheme. Bradys found himself involved in trade rumors that could bring the Chargers back in to the draft and beef up the defense.
A number of other quaterbacks have also been considered for a possible trade, including Alanta Falcons star Michael Vick who recently became second string, a move who hes rumored not be to happy about and has been looking to be traded in to the starting spot somewhere else.
A place Tom Brady may find himself soon as it seems Seneca Wallace will be starting against Tampa Bay after his late game herorics won the game in Denver. Wallace finds him self in a spot where he can prove he should be the starting quaterback on this team a spot thats been up for grabs since week 1 of the season.
"Depth will come in time, finding people now who can adapt to our style is whats important" said The coach. "Brady is a very talented quaterback, but Seneca is just the guy for us right now"

Chargers Keep On Moving With Brady On The Bench
Seneca Wallace cemented his status as the Chargers #1 quaterback as he and LT kept the Chargers in this one for the whole first half. Did I mention he racked up 305 yards passing for the game as well? Seneca stayed in for the course of the game until the final minutes as Leon Dudley came in to play out the game.
Though the Defense feel short in the first half, in the second they made the correct adjustments to lock down Tampa Bays offense. Forcing Punts and fumbles that allowed Wallace to work the extra carrys to win the game.
The bigger story is that Tom Brady after coming out to a lack luster start, will be staying with the Chargers for the rest of the season. "We recived some offers and sent out afew feelers but nothing really helped us." said the coach. "He'll get a chance to prove himself again, Brady wont be a bench warmer"
Next up on the calender for the Chargers is Brady's former team, The Patriots in New England. Wallace will be starting again, but will Brady get any play time?

Baby They Were Born To Run
Tom Brady ironicly closed out the game against his former team throwing the last 3 passes of the day, completing all of them. "It felt good to be out there on the feild" Brady stated after the game. While wallace and LT's connection on offense kept growing, the defense had a horrible night allowing Charlie Whitehurst to take over and keep them in the game.
Still the offense destroyed the Pats defense on the ground rushing for almost twice what they did. Gates also came up with a good game catching almost every pass that came his way.
With the drama of New England behinde them the Chargers look foward to a week off before there next game. A week that will be filled with Practice and hard work says the coach. "Were still trying to find our QB to stick with" Implying Wallace might not be such a safe bet at QB "Bradys coming along, he showed that at the end of the Game."

"Its something we've been practicing on all week" said Shawn Merriman after Practice "We're looking at the Bills like serious contenders and We want to take over the game". Still the defensive problems havn't held back the Chargers from becoming an undefeated team so far this season The possiblity of a quaterback controversy is still a threat to the teams balance as Brady no showed for practice.
"Thats fine" said the coach "Brady knows he hasn't lived up to the billing, its not to far of a strech to say he won't play again for us. Hes been part of some Trade offers and right now Seneca has been our guy with Arron backing him up" Recaps and much more from the game will come later today.
Been busy with school work its hard finding the time to write these up even though I have the next two games done <,<
