XBox 360 Live Question
I dont know if anyone here will know the answer but................

When I had my regular XBox a couple years ago I could get to XBox live no problems from home. I had the wireless router and all that good stuff.

Staying with me so far? I am sure yes..... Now...... When I went to work I was totally unable to connect. I am sure the reason is because we use a proxy and have a firewall.

Can I set up my ethernet connection any way at work that will let me play 360 live at work? I mean if I could I would buy one tomorrow. I just am afraid I will run into the same problems.

But perhaps its more advanced with its settings now that you can use proxys? Also I am on a LAN for those techies out there wondering.

I would SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO love for someone to say "Oh yeah, you can totally do that now" But I reckon its the same result as original XBOX.

yeah it would probably be one of your ports not being open with the firewall that you have in place. I can't be sure, but that would be my guess
