Hey, i just got this email, and thought it might be helpful to some other people like me who are in college and some of the file hosting websites are blocked, like megarotic, dailymotion and rapidshare

So it's a web proxy? These aren't new, there is a website I know off which has links to hundreds of them.

Yep, just checked. This isn't a browser, it's a web proxy (also known as a CGI Proxy). You can read about them here:

will any of these get me past my internet filter? all of the sites are blocked, which is keeping me from accessing filesharing websites

If it's a school computer they won't allow to install software that you didn't clear through them.

If you find a way around it and they catch you, it's usually big trouble.

That's my experience...
