What game to get now???

i think i'm looking to get some kind of shooter game next. what would u think the best one is? i dont care if its tactical(G.R.A.W.) or just straight up shooting (Lost Planet).

so far i have thought of gettin FEAR or GRAW. are either of these games any good and would u suggest them? any other games u'd suggest instead?

Lost Planet is a bag of shit, all you do is run and shoot there is nothing to it.

Which GRAW are you after the one from last year of the new one which is out next month? I can tell you that the original GRAW was ace but it was uber hard near the end. Great game.

FEAR is ok unless you play for acheivements because lot of the FEAR acheivements are pretty tough to get.

Rainbow Six Vegas is a good game and even though it isn't a proper shooter I played through Splinter Cell Double Agent yesterday and it was pretty good.

GRAW or GRAW 2 though are the better I would imagine.

I'm not an expert on gaming but I have Rainbow 6 Vegas and in my opinion it is a pile of shit and a sorry excuse for a game.

Raindow Six Vegas was...eh somepeople swear by it and other people are totally agaisnt it. before you make your judgement on It I would download the Demo from XBox Live Marketplace. However DO NOT GET LOST PLANET. I can't stress that shit enough, That game is so plain and ugh.

I would suggest something like Crackdown if your just looking to run and shoot, as far as taticly, G.R.A.W 2 would be a good way to go it looks and if you dont already have it, Gears of War.

Not a fan of GRAW myself, and would totally recommend Rainbow Six, mainly because it's hameplay is extremily good and I really like the tactcal element it gives. The graphics are also the sex and to be quite honest it is rather a better game than Lost Planet. Having Lost Planet, I like it, but it won't be to most peoples taste.

The shooting in Crackdown is probably the worst aspect of the game

Anyway, any of the Tom Clancy games are a good pick. They all mix good single player with good multiplayer while a game like Lost Planet is good for single player but the single player is short and then you are stuck with a lackluster multiplayer mode which is a shame. I would probably have to say Rainbow Six Vegas would be the best of the Tom Clancy games.

F.E.A.R. isn't amazing when it comes to single player but good enough to warrant playing it. Multiplayer is also lacking with it though. Prey is a similar case while Battlefield 2 ends up being the opposite of being good for multiplayer but lacking for single player. But Battlefield wasn't really made for single player and compared to the games on PC at least it does try to offer a decent single player experience.

The Call of Duty games are both great and I noticed you hadn't played those so they are ones I would recomend as well. Pretty sure COD2 should be cheaper now but I have not checked and is the better single player game while COD3 is the better online game. But in both cases the mode they are not as good for is still pretty good so you can't go wrong. I would go with COD3 out of those. Gameplay wise I do like these a lot more than the Tom Clancy games but the Tom Clancy games offer more to do.

The Outfit can be found new for $19.99 or I have heard of people buying it for $9.99 used so that is another one I would recomend. The online community has died off a lot which sucks but still a very underrated game that released at a bad time against games like GRAW and for the price the single player is well worth it and you can still find some online games.

EDIT: Just realized you have not played Condemned either. Not sure if I would say that is worth buying just because the single player isn't really long and there is no multiplayer but it is a very good game and well worth a rental.

my freind has condemed and i thought about renting it. i used to have the outfit and didnt get into it really. i love the splinter cell games and the hitman type games.

basically any game where u sneak around and kill people im in for.
