i have an ipod thats 2GB and i plan on upgrading in the next month and im either gonna get a 30GB ipod or a 30GB zune. they are the same exact price and have the same basic features but i wanna hear your guys' opinion on which i should buy. right now i'm leaning towards the Zune
Yeah I have a 4 gigabite ipod mini, and i'm not sure which one I'm gona get either. I really like the Ipod so I may just stick to it, but if the Zune gets better reviews who knows...

I don't know much about the Zune but I just ordered the 30GB ipod myself. My old one sucks. Anyway, I could have gone with the 80GB but I thought that was a bit excessive. It's basically the same shit and I don't need more then 7,500 songs.
the zune is just gettin me with the whole color screens and you can upload pics from your camera and put it as your background for complete personalization
If you are happy with the way your 2GB ipod was working, I would stick with apple. I know I have a 30 GB ipod and love it, and wouldn't take the chance with something new. Apple is here to stay, so you will always be able to get songs through itunes, etc. The Zune might go away and then you are stuck with a useless piece of junk.
The Zune has 1 or 2 versions to go before it can really compete. It is kind of thick and needs some tweaking before it is on the same level. It does have a bigger viewing screen however which is a good start.

I dont need all that fancy stuff on the Zune. I admit that the Zune is damn cool but I just want a player to play MUSIC. I dont need that much excess storage either so Im going with the 4GB iPod Nano.
