    Help with CSS code

I am trying to build a website for my magazine scans and I am going to be using drop down menus for the site using css code. Well I got what i want done but there is a strip above the main image that I can't get rid of. Its like there is a little section above the main image instead of the main image being completely at the top of the page there is a gap and I want to get rid of the gap. If anyone can help me with it it would be greatly appreciated.

Here is what I have thrown together. It is far from done it's just a template and it is going to look a lot different than this.

    Smooth Criminal Designz Scans

The gap I am talking about is at the very top of the page.

You may have a 'padding' or 'margin' setting in the CSS code active. If you're using divs then it will be under whatever you set the banner to be under and can be easily fixed through that.
