I have a computer problem. A couple of hours ago, my computer was running slow - not too slow, but slow enough for me to make a idiotic decision. I turn off the computer by the power button and go to sleep due to me not feeling well.
- A couple hours later which would be now. Lets say a good 20 minutes ago I turn it back on but it fully doesn't start. Mhmkay. I get a whole bunch of options -
safe mode
safe mode with networking
safe mode with command
last configured...
start windows normally.
I've done all of these and none of them have worked.
the computer is off at the moment.
any ideas?
thanks

If you are willing to part with whatever is saved to the computer reinstall Windows and choose to overwrite the Hard Drive partition. If you are very computer illiterate installing Windows is basically inserting the disc and following the instructions. This will make your computer fresh as if you just bought it, so long as there aren't any major hardware issues.
If you have a computer which was preloaded with Windows as opposed to a disc, PM me and I can hook you up with some Megaupload links from another forum. Or you can use Torrents, or if you're a premium member here I'm sure they have it or could hook you up.

That's what I did. I restored it.
I don't mind reinstalling everything, but I actually like the fact it's less cluttered.
Thanks man.

LMAO! Dude, when you turned it off via the power button all it did was go to your BIOS setup (I believe that is what it is called). You could of just pushed "Start windows normally" and it would of just booted up like if you shut it down. Sometimes a computer just gets overworked by all the programs running and goes super slow.
