I'd highly suggest 2k10 if your in to realism. NBA D Leauge has been added to association, you can import real draft classes off 2kshare, 10 day contracts have been added in as well.

The overlays, the presentation and the commentary especially have all been revamped to the 9s this year. in NBA Today (new feature, like quick play, but 100 times better) They'll talk about previous games, what kind of streaks are going on, whos hot, whos not, all based on real life happenings. It carrys over in to association mode to with stats from that being used insted of real life.

On the whole, its all about which you like better, but 2k10 is def the realistic'er one this year >.>
