I would still buy a Gamecube. Not many people would openly admit that, but, I sure will. It had terrible games, but it sure had some good ones.

I still play my gamecube when I have parties but that's because my friends and I are obsessed with Smash Bros. and Mario Party. I'd def suggest getting one if you're still thinking about it since they're like 20 bucks these days.

With the Wii being backwards compatible, most people just use that to play all the good Gamecube games. I had one when they first came out and for party games I got a lot of enjoyment out of it. Games like Mario Party, Smash Bros, Monkey Ball, and Mario Kart DD, all provided countless hours of fun.

The only games i actually remeber anyone playing on the gamecube were the Mario ones. it wasn't nearly as commercial or good as the Xbox or PS2
