Due to a severe lack of cake, Sony has chosen to celebrate the launch of its $299 PS3 Slim by releasing the PlayStation 3 Firmware 3.0 instead. The firmware, which includes the new, uh, “What’s New” section along with custom themes and more, is available when you sign into the PlayStation Network.
You can check out a vid detailing the features of the new firmware offers after the jump. Now, where’s the cake?!?!?!?

God I hate this guy, he's so annoying, they should get a new person to do these videos. This was for once a worth while update from Sony. I like the new look and features.
