It might sway a few of those who were holding off buying until a price drop, but I don't think it'll make a huge difference.

I, for one, won't be buying one. My Wii and Xbox were cheaper than that.

Hummmm, kind of interested now. Don't like the look of the model too much though.

What's the deal with the negative talk, Is PS3 an overall bad console or just lack exclusive games? If I did get one, it would probably be for the Blu Ray as I'm quite happy with the 360 for gaming.

i like the looks of the new ps3 alot more than the old clunker. i have a ps2 so backwards compatibility don't mean shit to me.
