I picked up a redeem code at Gamestop and I played two games with a buddy. First time I was the Cardinals, he was the Steelers.. he beat me 13-3. Second time we reversed the roles, I was the Steelers and I beat him 17-7. Not too surprising.. the Cardinals with either of us using them just could not run the ball on the Steelers at all. It made us way too one dimensional.
Few things I like already.. Tipped ball physics. When balls are batted into the air, they fly around more realistically. Same thing when quarterbacks are hit as they're throwing the ball.. more floating ducks and so on. I also love how fluid running with the ball is... the juke moves, spins, etc.. transition much better and it's harder for defenders to cut off the sideline.
The rest of the game is pimp but god damn if the run game still isn't a cluster fuck full of suction blocking and the added wtf 4 moar yards that "PRO-TAK" brings.
If they fixed that and Tron Jogging Id honestly have nothing bad to say.

I disagree. Running with the ball in the open field is a lot more fluid than it's ever been.. probably the best since 2004.
Running between the tackles is a little too easy IMO if you're Jacobs/Barber (in the reg. demo) but on the Steelers/Cards demo.. I don't care what anyone does, Hightower and Wells aren't doing shit against that Steeler D.

Yeah, between the tackles are where the problems are for me. I've seen plenty of times where Casey Hampton spins of his man and Wells just tells to GTFO and trucks him to death and then carries a man or 2 for 4 or 5 yards.
That being said, I love what they did in the passing game this year, It feels exactly like it should. Pass defense is improved to match, a long with a Pass rush, which was a non factor last year. The Positives of the demos right now far out weigh the negatives (PRO-TAK >.>).

Another thing I like about the Demo so far is the limited Wildcat plays that are in it. I can only imagine how easy itll be to run online. But none the less its pretty fun to burn some a team with a well timed Wildcat run.

Is there really any point to getting this? I will probably be getting it just because Fitzgerald is on the cover, but they don't change much at all anymore. A few things here and there and the rosters.
