yeah, not too mention they got rid of backwards compatibility so people would buy ps2's more, smart on sony tbh

Yeah for 99 bucks ps2 is so worth it, they probably have a good few years left in this system.

Yeah, it would be stupid to get rid of the system at this time. The PS3 isn't doing too hot, while the PS2 is still getting them a decent amount of money. Maybe when the PS3's price isn't as high, so people will buy them more, then they can go and discontinue the PS2.

The PS2 will always be the best console ever, I still play it quite alot, I have some good games for it such as Vice city, GTA III & San Andreas. Not to mention Red Faction II, Most of the old Smackdown games and several platformer games that were huge back then; mainly Crash bandicoot

PS2 wont, it is just too damn good.
