Konami announced today that they have attained the services of actor Tobin Bell to provide the voice for the infamous killer Jigsaw in the "Saw" video game, reprising the role that Bell has portrayed in the five "Saw" movies released by Lionsgate annually since 2004.

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc., today announced that actor Tobin Bell will extend his role as the infamous Jigsaw by voicing the iconic character in the upcoming video game adaptation of the most successful horror franchise in history - SAW. From the company that pioneered the survival horror genre, SAW is being developed for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PLAYSTATION computer entertainment system. SAW will also be available via download on Windows PC. The game will be released this fall timed to Lionsgate's October 23 theatrical release of SAW VI.

Garnering two MTV Movie Award nominations and three consecutive Spike TV Scream Awards nominations for "Best Villain," and winning the Fuse/Fangoria Chainsaw Award for "Best Butcher," Bell's Jigsaw is widely regarded as one of cinema's most terrifying villains. His chilling and immediately recognizable voice is essential to the terror, because he rarely confronts his victims in person, preferring to communicate via recordings, speaking through a puppet named Billy. Jigsaw traps his victims in brutal mechanical devices and forces them to acknowledge the mistakes in their life while testing their resolve to live, usually with gruesome and deadly consequences.

Kind of excited for this game.

I'm a huge Saw fan so I'm looking forward to this. Surprised its taken this long to release one tbh.

I've seen the movies, rode the coaster, bought the t-shirt, might as well play the game lol.

If they didn't have Bell the game would be certain to fail. They needed him for this, so I'm glad he signed on.

Idk, I'm not entirely sold on this game, I love the Saw flicks, but a game just would seem a bir boring.

What the heck would this game entail? I haven't read anything on it beyond this article above, so maybe there are more details already out there.

Would you be playing the game from Jigsaw's POV, or the cops, or a victim?! Not sure how you could get a game out of this...although I am a fan of the movies.
