EA Adding MMA To Sports Roster In 2010

EA announced today that an EA Sports MMA game is in development at Madden and Tiger Woods studio EA Tiburon.

"We're ready for the fight," EA Sports chief Peter Moore said in a press release. No other details were given regarding fighters, arenas and so forth.

Rival publisher THQ publishes games based on the world-famous UFC license.

The EA Sports MMA official site is mostly barren, for now.

Should be an awesome game if they do it right. Plus since everyone cross promotes, we would see a lot of fighters.

I'm thinking they will just go out and license the bigger companies, DREAM, Strikeforce, Affliction etc.

I would like to see WEC fighters in there but it's Zuffa and wouldn't happen.

I've heard for a while that Couture may be one of the fighters, since he signed a videogame likeness contract with EA to be in Red Alert 3. And I'm sure they will go after Fedor.
