Figured this could get is own topic. I've been watching this on G4 while doing some school work and so far I am impressed with some of the games already displayed. I've also downloaded a few trailers on the x360 dashboard. So far this year (and next) is looking good for gamers.

Just to name a few I am looking forward to.

Just the new stuff for the XBox 360 like the HD videos you can watch instantly instead of having to wait and in full HD, the ability to watch videos/TV Programmes with friends, facebook and twitter on the 360, new videos of games like Alan Wake, Left 4 Dead 2, Crackdown 2, Forza 3, the new Metal Gear Solid: Rising with Raiden as main character and the new sensor bar that won't require a controller and you use your body to play the games.
Really interesting stuff from Microsoft.

Well Microsoft were not a disaster like they were last year (Other than the prom dress thing which was an EPIC FAIL!) but I can't say I am any more impressed this year. Most of the games I would have interest in won't be 360 purchases, I hate gimmicks and some of the few things from a 360 standpoint I would be interested in were killed pre-E3 like Forza 3 leaks. And even then Forza 3 is based on liking the first two games only since I thought their showing of it was awful and one of my biggest hates is fake playing a CGI clip like they tried to pull with that.

My fellow nerds! It's the sweetest time of year! E3! And Microsoft simply blew the doors off today. Live coverage all week on G4, btw. Sony and Nintendo have no shot of topping what Microsoft and the XBox folks rolled out today. The XBox 360 is going to blow your mind in the coming months, with some things....I can't even begin to explain. Luckily, i found the videos, so you;ll just have to watch...and be amazed and blown away.
- They first announced they are bringing Last.Fm, Twitter, and Facebook to XBox Live this fall.
- They also are making it so you can access the entire Netflix library on Live w/o having to go onto your computer.
- There's also a feature called "Party Room" where you and your friends on Live can all watch the same movie at once. So if you're home and your brother lives in another city or state, you can both sign in and watch a movie together.
- They are also going full 1080p HD with most movies from Netflix.
- A partnership with England's Sky TV for exclusive, live , streaming TV feeds.

Now...the two gems. I can't really describe these, so you'll have to watch. It's like the Wii on mega-steroids. Remember Back To The Future 2? When Marty interacts and talks to the TV? Yeah, well.......welcome to that. Voice capture....3D body scanning....facial recognition.....WOW.

Unless Sony can actually transport you INTO the game, no way they can top this. The XBox will continue to reign in this round of "console wars."
half of that stuff is just stupid gimmicks i'll never use. i never use MSN on the 360 so i doubt i use twitter and facebook. who wants to watch a movie while CHATTING with people? doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of watching a movie.
the only thing besides the new games that interested me today was the netflix things. i have been waiting for an update to browse netflix via the 360.
