Gannon
Link has been fighting back against the evil forces of Ganon since 1987, but it wasn't until the arrival of Ocarina of Time that the pig-man wizard first appeared in a more human form. Ganondorf is the seemingly unkillable central villain of the Legend of Zelda series, and Nintendo has few characters more iconically evil than him.

Croc
Croc is a cute crocodile raised by the Gobbos on Forest Island. He is, obviously, the star of the Croc series. Croc was washed up on Forest Island in a little black basket, where he was found and adopted by King Rufus and the other Gobbos. It is a mystery why his parents put him in a basket in the ocean... While he was growing up, his favorite food was peas. (The manual said he 'ate buckets of peas'). When he had reached his full height, he was as tall as three Gobbos standing on top of each other.

Cecil
Cecil is a character from the Final Fantasy IV videogame. The hero of Final Fantasy IV wasn’t exactly a good guy to start with. As a Dark Knight, commanding Baron’s squadron of Red Wing airships, he obeyed his orders without question, even when the King of Baron’s goals didn’t seem entirely noble.

Squall Leonhart is a character from the Final Fantasy VIII videogame. Squall almost defines the stereotype of the brooding hero, to the point that he’s become a punch line for jokes on the subject. He doesn’t quite deserve all the flak he gets, though – he does grow into a competent leader over the course of the game, and eventually manages to express the feelings he develops in the direction of Rinoa Heartilly, first a client and later an especially close ally.

Rikku
Rikku is a character from the Final Fantasy X videogame. Rikku is Yuna’s cousin (on the Al Bhed side) and wants badly to protect her, which creates a considerable amount of tension with some of the other members of Yuna’s party. In particular, her guardian Wakka – as a consequence of his prejudice as a faithful follower of Yevon – doesn’t trust her one bit, at least to start with.
