Well I don't regret any but out of the systems I have had I guess I could try to rank them....
1) PC
2) Dreamcast
3) SNES
4) NES
5) Xbox
6) PS2
7) PS3
8) 360 (Hardware problems drop this one.)
9) GBA
10) DS/DSi
11) PS1
12) Game Boy
13) Wii (For actual games made for the system it would be the worst but the virtual console games from consoles that didn't suck made me give it a few spots higher.)
14) PSP
15) Game Gear
16) Gamecube
17) N64
Maybe it's because I didn't buy every game system, but I can't say I regret getting any of them. Whether it was the Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Playstation, Gameboy or PS2, I enjoyed them all a lot at the time. For most of them, I had no problem playing long past when they were out-of-date. The best way to avoid regretting a system is to not go crazy and buy every system as soon as it comes out. Look at how popular the PSP was and how quickly that fad died out.
The Gameboy advanced, SP. I mean it was sick at first for Pokemon but once I grew out of it, it lost it's importance pretty quick.
PS1/PS2/XBox360 (ahhh I broke the chain) all were used more than enough. In fact I went through two of my playstations (both 1 and 2 I had to buy new ones) cuz I used them so much. Of course the original nintendo, N64, etc is all fun too.
