Guitar Hero/Rock Band Ramblings/Questions

So today I bought Guitar Hero Metallica. Anyone else have it? Thoughts on it?

I only played like four songs but it was pretty bad ass. Create-A-Rocker or whatever it's called is pretty fun too. Having song lyrics and Metallica facts is also a cool edition.

But in an interesting note I bought a GH guitar and was told it would work on Rock Band. is this true? Does is effect gameplay?

Rockband seems better because you can keep all the songs on Rb2. I hate that you need to keep switching games in order to play all the different GH songs. I mean sure, it keeps people honest and not just importing songs from renting, but it's a pain in the ass.

Apparenty Guitar Hero is coming out with a new game that features 1/2/3 stuffs for the mic/drums. Sounds good I guess though I don't have either of those

Yeah the rock band & guitar hero instruments you can play on both.

Only thing i have a gripe with is they both have their good points and i'd prefer a game combined of the 2.

Guitar Hero's gameplay feels better than Rock Band but the tracks are better for Rock Band.

But thats just me

I never played RB so I can't judge their gameplay but they do have a better song list compared to GH plus next week they're going to have Chinese Democracy as a DL content

Both games are awesome, but I've noticed that there are no Seether or Evanescence songs on them which is a let down.

Guitar Hero Metalliaca is my favorite soundtrack on a game so far. Definately the most challenging because of the metal influence song list.

ACtually, GH:M is a very easy game. Dont get me wrong, they throw alot at you, especially in lower skill levels, but the timing window is HUGE, and since GH is usually alot more lenient then RB is in that department, thats saying alot.
