Computer games for someone with a weak stomach

Come tomorrow I officially have $260 CAN to blow on whatever I want, and Ive decided that I want to go a different route from my Xbox 360 and delve into the computer world of gaming. My only problem is that first person shooter games make me dizzy. I can only spent three minutes playing them before I feel like Im about to pass out. With that being said, I can play games with a camera angle of Gears of War, but Im interested in something that I can play online, and that I dont have to pay additional funds to do so. Anyone got some interesting gaming titles I should check out? Sports, strategy, war, Im into all sorts of games.

PS: Is it true 360 controllers work with computers? I know they have the USB stuff, but yeah really or do I have to buy a controller for my laptop?

All you need to buy is a USB wireless adapter. It will install something so that your computer can use your Xbox 360 controller. Although the Xbox controller doesn't work with every game. You can buy the USB thing that finds the wireless signal for like $20. So it's not that much.

As far as games go, all I really play is first person shooters. So I couldn't help you on that one.
