When the third DLC scenario for
Fallout 3, "Broken Steel," hits Xbox 360 and PC in March, it will replace the game's current ending, which doesn't allow players to keep on exploring the Capitol Wasteland post "end-game." This is something we've known since last November; what we didn't realize is that PS3 players -- already missing out on any DLC action -- will continue to be stuck with the current "brick wall" ending.
When asked by
MTV Multiplayer if there were plans to patch the PS3 version of Fallout 3 for end-game play, Todd Howard, the game's executive producer, responded, "Not at this time, no." Howard has also remarked that Bethesda "really underestimated how many people would want to keep playing [past the ending]," and that Fallout 3 was "probably the last time we'll do something like that."

Just another reason why XBox 360 is so much better than a PS3. I'll definitely be getting this downloadable content. I still absolutely love this game.

Pathetic that they are not patching this for the PS3 owners. I know they have an exclusive agreement for DLC with Microsoft but that shouldn't be considered DLC.
If it is like the level cap that was supposed to be increased with Operation Anchorage then it won't actually happen anyway though. someone told me the level cap was gonan be part of next months DLC. that scares me cuz i basically just started this game and im already level 5.(im already doing the DLC content tho)

Yeah some sites said March and others said it was part of Operation Anchorage so guess the Anchorage sites had it wrong. The one site I just checked that said March also said it would be with the third DLC when only the second DLC is supposed to hit in March so seems to be all around confusion To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. I got this game and got bored after the first week...but I really sucked at it so that's why. I should probably play it again and turn down the difficulty or something. I have it for PS3 though, so does that mean I will have the end game problems if I ever get there?

Yeah I guess there is. Just keep hearing about Operation Anchorage and Broken Steel so I figured BS was the second one since I have not even heard anything about the second one.
I got this game and got bored after the first week...but I really sucked at it so that's why. I should probably play it again and turn down the difficulty or something. I have it for PS3 though, so does that mean I will have the end game problems if I ever get there?
Yeah but you can just create a save prior to the last mission of the main storyline and use that to keep doing side quests and stuff with that save if you don't want to wait to finish the main storyline.
