Soccer: Henry out for HSV game

Thierry Henry will miss Arsenal's trip to Hamburg after he suffered a reaction to a recent foot injury.

The Arsenal captain had picked up the problem while on international duty with France in the Euro 2008 qualifier against Italy last week, but he played through the pain barrier to face Middlesbrough on Saturday.

However Henry expressed concern following training at London Colney ON Tuesday morning and it was decided the striker should not be involved in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Manager Arsene Wenger does not expect the injury to keep Henry out of the Barclays Premiership match against Manchester United on Sunday.

England Under-21 forward Theo Walcott, however, returns to the squad after being rested at the weekend, while new signing Julio Baptista also travels.

Goalkeeper Jens Lehmann is available again following suspension from the first leg of the qualifiers, while William Gallas should continue at left-back, with Emmanuel Adebayor and Robin van Persie likely to lead the attack.

Gael Clichy (foot), Philippe Senderos (shoulder), Abou Diaby (ankle) and Lauren (knee) all still working on match fitness.

Arsenal (from): Lehmann, Almunia, Gallas, Toure, Djourou, Eboue, Hoyte, Fabregas, Song, Ljungberg, Gilberto, Flamini, Hleb, Baptista, Walcott, Rosicky, Van Persie, Adebayor
