Sheffield United or Middlesbrough v Cardiff City

Manchester United v Portsmouth

Bristol Rovers v West Brom

Barnsley v Chelsea

Matches to be played 8th and 9th of March.

Well United always seem to get Premiership opponents, but I'm happy with Pompey at home. Hopefully Boro go through, because a match between them and Cardiff would be a real cracker in my opinion.

Barnsley have been rewarded well with a home tie against Chelsea. Blues shouldn't have too many problems against them. Bristol Rovers vs. West Brom will be interesting. The field at the memorial ground isn't the best (having witnessed it at first hand a few weeks ago) so it might pose a few problems for West Brom.

Actually, I am not blaming Manchester United for that one! They were fatigued at the end of the season, but Chelsea just determined to play a certain way that absolutely ensured snoozedom....albeit achieving victory, which I'm sure is all they and their fans cared about!

It's a shame Man U have Portsmouth. I thought that would have made my favourite final of all the teams left.

That was actually my pick for the final, and with Utd looking likely to get through because of the home draw its going to be a one sided final unless Chelsea play Utd, unless Middlesboro(who were terrible yesterday) or maybe West Brom can play above expectations.

From a purly selfish poin of view I want a Chelsea/Man Utd final as it gives aan extra UEFA Cup place for the league.
