Premier League Decision re: Heinze

The 29-year-old Argentina international claimed that he should be allowed to move to Anfield, a transfer that has not been made since Phil Chisnal left for Liverpool in 1962, because of a letter his advisors had received from United allowing him to join another club if his asking price was met.

But, the Premier League announced on Tuesday afternoon: "The Premier League Board appointed panel have heard submissions of evidence from both parties and has ruled to dismiss the player's case."

A United spokesman told ManUtd.com: "The Club is pleased that the panel has endorsed its case."
Finally this nonsense of a (non)transfer debacle has been sorted out. I can't believe anyone would think a written letter would over ride a legal bounding contract between player and club. Hopefully Heinze can settle down now and carry on with his pre season, before returning to the first team. However I would not be surprised to see Sir Alex ship him out to either Lyon or Juventus.

Edge will rise again...

Counter claim: Breach of human rights.

Man Utd can not force Heinze to stay. He wants to go to Liverpool, he should be allowed go.

Also i find it ironic Ferguson was complaining about West Ham not accepting a bid for Tevez but yet he refuses to accept a bid for one of his players.

There is a differance, Wet Ham did not own the player.

Breach of human rights... lol, I'd love to be stuck somewhere getting paid 30k a week and want to leave.
