Looks like United have got themselfs a new defender: Nemanja Vidic from Spartak Moscow for £7m.

Can't say I've heard much about him, but he sure will boost the defence for United. Now we need to go out and get a strong central midfield player.

We need a really quality winger, left or right, and a defender at the very least. A long term replacement for Lehmann would also be good.

For christs sake he's got 25 players in his squad at Chelsea.

Are there only 25 decent players around these days?

Of course not, Chels have been better managed in recent times and haven't lost players ad infinitum without adequately replacing them which has been the downfall this season of Ferguson and Wenger.

Well I supose whether Essien got injured or not Maniche was on his way, since this rumor had been around for a week or so. I was actually suprised it took this long for him to go to Chelsea. He was one of the first players I ecpected Jose to pick up when he first arrived.
