I suppose I'll just have to wait until the tournament starts and see who jumps out at me. Shame about Bergkamp, really. And the Netherlands as a whole, based on these groupings. Rep Power: 97 | Leaving aside the "gorgeousness" of the Swedish players (and the fact that they are drawn with England which will make you the enemy of many of us here....well four or five of us anyway), I'd for Holland if I was a neutral. They weren't seeded, but are very good, usually involved in one or two very fine games in any tournament, usually plenty of tantrums and fall outs along the way, plus it's in Germany which is their chief football rival and a country that tends to bring out the best in their players (finalists in '74 - won the Euros there in '88). Plus they wear Orange!!! | |
