Rep Power: 5 | I absolutely hate mis-guided English optimism when it comes to these competitions. We lost to Northern Ireland, only just beat Poland and drew with Austria as well as some god awful displays against Austrialia, Holland and Spain and all of a sudden we are world beaters capable of beating Brazil. We will lose to Sweden, come second in our group and lose to Germany in the final 16. |

Rep Power: 73  | I don't know if it's misguided, to be honest that only comes through from the scummy media as opposed to anyone who actually knows anything about football. Most people seem to expect us to get where we probably realistically are, last eight but no further. Once you make the last eight, it's the luck of the draw, luck of refereeing etc so we could go further but wouldn't bet on it. We have a habbit of imploding tragi-comically at that stage!! | |
