Sunderland vs Portsmouth

Yep i went again down to the football today and watched as Sunderland got picked appart by Portsmouth. And although we lost, i actually had a good time.
1st, in the next section next to me, a small scuffle broke out and entertained us for about 10 minutes and i didn't take much notice of the match until a couple of police officers and a few people got ejected from the ground.
2nd, I've finally seen my first pitch invasion by a supporter. Sunderland had played poorly 2nd half and somehow a fan managed to get onto the pitch and right up into Kelvin Davies face and gave him some verbal before being ejected by police and ground staff.
These two events both made up for the poor performance because it was better to watch than what was going on on the pitch.

And also i got a new watch :happy:

That is some good positive thinking there Mick. As a Liverpool fan I may need a few new watches myself this season to cheer me up. That and a bloke from croxteth to lamp Harry Kewell on the pitch.

Its not something i condone because he could of had a knife or something but it just seemed to be right today.
He got a good cheer too as he was escorted off.

Yeah, there's been plenty of times I wish I could've given someone a piece of my mind for stupid play...but then, thats what sportstalk radio is for. :smile:

I think some players should face some accountability for bad play, perhaps conferences with a local fan club for the two players voted worst in a month (either worst commitment wise or worse ability wise). It would give fans a chance to vent, make players shit themselves into playing better and would drive players that fans dont want out of a club. I personally would be voting Kewell and Crouch.
